From the Banks of the Humbug

Oxley’s Real Estate started in 2002 to meet the needs of West Wyalong as major developments, Cowal Gold Project and Pace Farms, were just getting started. It was named after NSW’s first surveyor-general, and explorer, Lieut John Oxley. He was the first European to explore inland NSW, and camped by the Humbug Creek, north of West Wyalong.

It also happens, his great, great, great, great grandson, Garry Shaw is the founder, owner and licencee in charge at Oxley’s Real Estate.  From “Humbug” beginnings, Oxley’s has grown to a vital and highly regarded business in West Wyalong and district.

Oxley’s now manages over 130 properties and continues to grow this and their sales of residential homes and land throughout the district.

On the team at Oxley’s are Garry and Caroline Shaw, Liz Baumer and Narelle Brooks who are all able to assist with sales and property management.  “In our business, you have to be multi-skilled.”
